A Leadership Announcement from the Tauck Family Foundation Board of Directors
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As the year draws to a close, the Tauck Family Foundation (TFF) wishes to share an important update regarding our leadership.
The Tauck Family Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Hein as Executive Director. Kim joined TFF in 2017, overseeing our grantmaking and partnerships with investees. Her strength in fostering relationships, talent in program management, and commitment to advancing excellence through the provision of innovating educational opportunities was built on preceding experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, including roles at the Norwalk Housing Authority and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. From the beginning of Kim’s career, she has worked on behalf of youth and families in the advancement of education and well-being, promoting program solutions that are constituent-driven and community-centric. As TFF’s Program Officer, Kim was instrumental in forwarding the Foundation’s 10-year commitment to invest in organizations and initiatives that equip the children of Bridgeport, CT with the necessary social and emotional skills to thrive academically and in life.
In January of this year, the Foundation’s Board of Directors named Kim Interim Executive Director and since that time, her steadfast leadership abilities, collaborative work style, and alignment with the Board’s vision for the future of the Foundation have been critical in advancing the work of the Foundation, both its operational effectiveness and programmatic support of Bridgeport youth, as well as its ongoing strategic planning work as we undertake a shift to investing in the environmental sector. Kim is a true champion of our work, a passionate advocate for the communities we endeavor to support, and a trusted colleague to many. We are honored and grateful to have her lead the Foundation into its next chapter. Please join us in celebrating Kim’s appointment as Executive Director! Kim can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or (203) 899-6915.
The TFF Board and staff continue to appreciate your interest in and support of our work.
Wishing you all a joy-filled holiday season!
