Executive Director

Kim Hein joined the Tauck Family Foundation in 2017 as Program Officer and in 2022, she was named Interim Executive Director. In this role, Kim directs the overall programmatic and administrative activities of the Foundation.

Prior to joining the Foundation, she held several roles in the public and nonprofit sectors, primarily in program development, event management, and fundraising. She oversaw the Norwalk Housing Authority College Scholarship Program which provides support for students throughout the college and career process. She was an associate director at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Undergraduate Division where she managed large-scale events and developed co-curricular programs for students; and she began her career at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts where she held positions in both special events and wish program coordination.

Kim holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a Certificate in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Linguistics from Syracuse University. She lives in Fairfield with her husband, two children, and dog Zoe.
