Kim Hein has over fifteen years of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors primarily in program development, event management, and fundraising. Prior to joining the Tauck Family Foundation in September 2017, she oversaw the Norwalk Housing Authority College Scholarship Program to help low-income students navigate the college process and graduate with a college degree.
Before working in Connecticut, Kim worked in student affairs at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Undergraduate Division where she oversaw large-scale events and developed co-curricular programs to create community among the student body. She began her career at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts where she held positions in both special events and wish program coordination.
Kim has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a Certificate in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Linguistics from Syracuse University.
