Past Grantees

The Foundation’s grantmaking efforts have evolved since the Foundation was established in 1994; a historical timeline can be found here. From 2013 to 2023, the Foundation funded a portfolio of organizations and initiatives, or “investees”, focused on developing their organizational capacity to implement and measure social and emotional learning (SEL) in service of improving life outcomes for children in Bridgeport, CT. This approach included multi-year general operating support, targeted capacity building support, collaborative partnerships, and knowledge building and sharing.
