Patricia Nunez recently graduated from Baruch College with a major in International Business and minors in Marketing and Spanish. She was lucky enough to study abroad in both Spain and China where she gained different perspectives of the needs of underserved communities. Her study abroad experiences inspired her to be more involved in nonprofit organizations that focus on discriminated communities.
Prior to joining the Tauck Family Foundation, Patricia worked at Starr Career Development Center in New York, where she focused on creating more diverse and inclusive professional opportunities for undergraduate students. Patricia constantly sought out workshops and other tools in order to become a better resource to the students. As a child of immigrants, she is passionate about eradicating injustices in marginalized communities and is committed to using her talents, skills, and experiences to raise awareness and implement change.
As the Foundation’s Program Assistant, Patricia’s goal is to be part of the change in Bridgeport, educating herself, as well as the people around her, about SEL and make it a part of our everyday conversation
