Laura Risimini
Laura Risimini joined the Tauck Family Foundation as a Program Officer in 2026, where she supports the Foundation’s grantmaking, strategy, and relationships with nonprofit partners. Laura brings more than twelve years of experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management, and family foundation leadership. Much of her career has focused on working with family foundations and their leaders to shape philanthropic priorities, support thoughtful decision-making, and build strong foundations for their work.
Prior to joining the Tauck Family Foundation, Laura served as Senior Director of Grantmaking & Strategy at Amplify Her Foundation, where she led the Foundation’s grantmaking strategy and cultivated cross-sector partnerships to advance gender and racial justice across New York City. Previously, she served as Managing Director of the Purpose Foundation, a start-up fiscal sponsor for social impact campaigns, and as Foundation Manager of the HLH Family Foundation (formerly The Sister Fund), where she helped guide the organization’s transition to a multigenerational family foundation. Across these roles, Laura has worked closely with donors, Boards, and nonprofit leaders on philanthropy, organizational development, and the day-to-day work of running a foundation.
Laura is a proud member of the Women’s Funding Network and serves on the Steering Committee of the Fund for Women and Girls at Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. She is also co-author of The Uprising of Women in Philanthropy (Routledge, 2024). Laura holds a BA in International Studies and an MA in Political Science from Fordham University.
